HOW WE WORK.

After we have met at your property to review the scope of works (this initial meeting is FOC), we put together a fee proposal for approval. Once we have been appointed, our projects work on a five phase process which is outlined below.

Interior Designers

taking the brief.

The first step within our interior design service is an initial meeting at your home to discuss the brief of the project. This is where we discuss existing floor plans and we explore your style, vision and lifestyle.

Interior design floor plans

Phase 1. Concepts & floor plan.

After our initial meeting, we carefully select concept images for each room in our ‘look and feel’ document. This allows us to show our ideas and get your feedback. From this, we can develop the floor plans and provide options where possible. We maximise the use of each space by carefully considering joinery and furniture positioning.

Interior Design 3D model

Phase 2. 3D Model.

We develop a 3D model of the entire property to help you visualise your home. We walk you through each room to give you a feel for the space and discuss finishes, furniture layouts, joinery and style.

Interior design specification

Phase 3. specification.

After the 3D model is agreed we present sample boards that include paint colours, wallpapers, stone, tile finishes, carpet and joinery finishes. Once agreed, we develop detailed specifications of joinery, bathrooms, kitchen, lighting and all hard finishes for your contractor and supplier.

Interior Design FF&E

phase 4. FF&E and budgeting

FF&E stands for furniture, fittings and equipment. This part of the design process is a presentation of the furniture, upholstery, rugs, fabrics, light fittings, window treatments etc. We then produce a detailed estimate which itemises each item and provides options for you to choose from where required.

Interior Design - Project managment

phase 5. project MANAGEMENT and installation.

Throughout the project we make regular site visits, overseeing the contractor and sub-contractors including curtain markers, upholstery, decorating and joiners. The final stage is the installation, where we over see and co-ordinate delivery and installation of furniture, artwork and accessories. This is where our vision truly comes to life.
